Five Top Republicans Summoned
Rep. Kevin McCarthy has been subpoenaed by the Jan. 6 Committee in an extraordinary step targeting a current party leader.
Significant Republican names have been subpoenaed by the Jan. 6 Committee on Thursday for playing a crucial role and possibly hiding what they may know about the Attack. Aside from McCarthy, those subpoenaed include Reps. Scott Perry (R-Pa.), Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) and Mo Brooks (R-Ala.). On the executive side, the DOJ has also subpoenaed Trump documents that were illegally brought to his home in Mar-a-Lago.
