Trump "Weakened Ukraine"
Trump has a long financial history with Russia and supported Putin's efforts to subjugate Ukraine by withholiding military aid and weakening NATO.
For years, Trump had business relations with Russia, including trying to build a Trump Tower in Moscow. As president, Trump wanted to pull out of NATO and resisted efforts to sanction Russia. Trump was impeached for withholding $400 million in U.S. aid to Ukraine unless President Zelenskyy agreed to dig up dirt on Joe Biden. U.S. Army lieutenant colonel Vindman - who testified at the first impeachment - said recently that Trump has "undermined U.S. foreign policy because he weakened Ukraine.”

Fiona Hill described how Putin, as he reaches for domination, relies heavily on his skills at the influence-and-information game. “What happens in a Russian ‘all-of-society’ war, you soften up the enemy,” she told her interviewer, Maura Reynolds. Hill gave some names: “You get the Tucker Carlsons and Donald Trumps doing your job for you.”
Donald Trump praised Putin throughout his time as president. Now, he calls Putin "smart" as the Russian dictator wages a brutal war against Ukraine.
