Trump Allies Quivering in Their Boots
Rep. Kinzinger says the Jan 6 Committee is not ruling out the possibility of issuing subpoenas to other members of Congress.
Last Friday Roger Stone appeared before the Committee but invoked the Fifth Amendment for "fear that Democrats would fabricate perjury charges." Other Trump allies such as William Walker, former commander of the D.C. National Guard, and Dustin Stockton, conservative activist responsible for organizing rallies after the election, are both complying with the Committee through witness testimony and turning over evidence that would have Trump allies "quivering in their boots".

Jan. 6 Committee May Add New Expertise for Investigation, New York Times | 12/17/2021

The Committee is considering hiring more staff in order to analyze all the information Trump supporters posted on social media before and after the attack. Congress has been investigating the possibility of foreign governments' ability "to exploit and deepen social divisions created by Mr. Trump" as well as filing charges against more than 700 individuals for their involvement in the attack.
Rep. Kinzinger, the only Republican on the Jan 6 Committee, explains how damaging the documents Mark Meadows turned over to the Committee. The Committee is also investigating whether there should be criminal charges filed against Trump.
