The January 6th Committee exposes how Trump knew he lost the election, but raised over $250 million spreading the Big Lie.
For Donald Trump it is always about money. Although Trump was repeatedly told by his closest aides that he lost the election, he continued to raise millions spreading false conspiracy theories. Trump even defrauded his supporters with a bogus "Official Election Defense Fund" that did not exist. Rep. Zoe Lofgren correctly said at the hearing, "The Big Lie was also a big rip-off."

The Big Lie was a fraud perpetuated on Trump supporters, but will they admit their leader is exploiting them? The Jan. 6 Committee has successfully outlined Trump's con through an all-Republican witness list confirming their findings. However, despite the glaring facts of deception on Trump's part, "they're people who don't care about facts."
Zoe Lofgren, a Democratic committee member and California representative, said the Trump Campaign used the false claims to “raise hundreds of millions of dollars from supporters who were told their donations were for the legal fight in the courts”.
